Mark Rios

Mark Rios began his study of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Tucson when there was only one school offering such instruction and the highest-ranking person in town at the time was a blue belt.  Mark is currently a Brown Belt under Boxing Inc Professor Kevin Jones.  He is also a certified Affiliate Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor under Professor Roy Harris.  Mark has had an interest in fitness and martial arts since childhood and has studied a variety of disciplines.  He has instructed physical fitness and defensive tactics at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and, in his last job, he led the design, development and implementation of an organizational health and wellness program for over 4,000 personnel.  Mark’s classes will focus on the fundamental positions, escapes and attacks of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
