Gabriella Leyva
A Champion in the Making
At just 12 years old and competing at 101 lbs., Gabriella “Gabi” Leyva has firmly established herself as one of Tucson’s most accomplished young boxers. With over 15 fights under her belt, she has continuously honed her skills through dedication and hard work, displaying remarkable talent, resilience, and a championship mindset. Over the course of three years of intense training, Gabi has proven herself as a rising star in the boxing world.
One of her standout accomplishments came in 2022 when she won the Silver Gloves Nationals, cementing her place among the best young fighters in the country. On September 14th, 2024, Gabi added another victory to her record at the Estilo 520 Amateur Boxing event, a tournament hosted right here in Tucson.
Most recently, on March 2nd, 2025, Gabi competed at the Lady Warrior Tournament in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where she dominated both of her fights, securing victories and further solidifying her growing reputation.
With a list of achievements that continues to grow and an unstoppable drive, Gabi is not only shaping the future of women’s boxing in Arizona but is also emerging as a national contender to watch. The boxing world has no doubt that her future is bright.

Yasiel Bueras
A Young Fighter with a Bright Future
At just 10 years old and competing at 65 lbs., Yasiel “Yasi” Bueras is already making waves in the boxing world. On February 8th, 2025, he stepped into the ring at the USA Boxing competition in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where he delivered a dominant performance, securing a unanimous decision victory. This win adds to his growing list of accomplishments, showcasing his sharp technique, determination, and unwavering competitive spirit.
Previously, on January 25, 2025, Yasiel won the Old Pueblo Amateur event in Tucson, showcasing his skill and determination in front of his hometown crowd. And on January 18th, 2025 Yasi fought at the Arena Boxing Event in San Diego, California, where he had also claimed victory.
His commitment to training, combined with his hunger for success, has positioned him as one of Tucson’s most promising young fighters. With multiple wins under his belt in just a short time, Yasiel is well on his way to achieving greatness in the ring.

Jesus Aguilar
Rising Star in Tucson’s Youth Boxing Scene
At just 12 years old and weighing 75 lbs, Jesus Aguilar continues to make waves in the world of amateur boxing.
