At just 12 years old, Gabriella “Gabi” Leyva has already established herself as one of Tucson’s most accomplished young boxers. Competing at 95 lbs., Gabi has stepped into the ring an impressive 13 times, gaining invaluable experience and sharpening her skills with each fight. With over three years of dedicated training, she continues to showcase her talent, resilience, and championship mindset. One of her biggest achievements came in 2022, when she won the Silver Gloves Nationals, proving she is among the best young fighters in the country.

Most recently, on September 14th, 2024, Gabi added another victory to her record at the Estilo 520 Amateur Boxing event, a tournament hosted right here in Tucson. With a growing list of accomplishments and an unstoppable drive, she is a rising star in the boxing world, representing the future of women’s boxing in Arizona and beyond.

At just 10 years old, Yasiel “Yasi” Bueras is proving to be a formidable young talent in the boxing world. Fighting at 60 lbs., Yasi stepped into the ring for his second amateur bout at the Arena Boxing Event in San Diego, California, on January 18th. With sharp technique, determination, and the heart of a true competitor, he delivered an impressive performance, securing another victory on his journey. His commitment to training and hunger for success set him apart as one of Tucson’s most promising young fighters. With two fights under his belt and a growing record of success, Yasiel is just beginning his path to greatness in the ring.

On January 25th, 2025, Yasiel “Yasi” Bueras secured a unanimous decision victory at the Old Pueblo Amateur event in Tucson, showcasing his skill and determination in front of his hometown crowd.
